Cross River State forest canopy

After the conducting a biodiversity survey of the UniCem lease area prior to the establishment of the quarry, it was found to be severely depleted of natural biodiversity. In response to this, UniCem has entered into an agreement with the Wildlife Conservation Society to support the Oban Division of the Cross River National Park. The grant is used for the park protection, research and monitoring activities and conservation planning.
