Gullit gives Milan hope ahead of Man Utd clash

Milan legend Ruud Gullit insists he had never said Zlatan Ibrahimovic is too old and reveals which Manchester United problem can help the Rossoneri in their upcoming Europa League meetings.
The Rossoneri will meet the Red Devils in the Europa League round of 16.

"The Red Devils are a strong team, but with a few issues. [Ole Gunnar] Solskjaer is always on the brink. Compare a recent picture with one of his first days as Manchester United coach. He looks aged 10 years. There is always criticism. Being the Manchester United coach after the Ferguson era is complicated," Gullit told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Milan lost five of their 12 games played in 2021 and sit second in the Serie A table.

"I think injuries have had an impact, but I am happy to see my Milan up there," the former Dutch midfielder continued.

"Juventus remain my favourite to win the title. Inter are the table leaders and Milan played very well before being hit by injuries. I like Lazio too, they have a strong team and they can recover."
