Juventus and Manchester United's possible Ronaldo and Pogba swap deal

Cristiano Ronaldo's Juventus exit is getting closer after three years in Turin, with the Portuguese star seemingly having decided to move on.

This has sparked rumours that Ronaldo could be on his way back to his old club Manchester United.

Juventus are set to miss out on the Serie A title for the first time since 2011 and Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes is working hard to find a new club for his star client.

According to Italian paper La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ronaldo is happy to take a wage cut in order to facilitate a move and Juventus would benefit from removing his high salary from their wage bill as they have economic issues of their own.

Paul Pogba could even be included in a swap deal for Ronaldo, with the Frenchman returning to the Old Lady after leaving for England in 2016.

What is certain is that Ronaldo won't be returning to Real Madrid, as Florentino Perez made that clear this week.

The forward, then, is doing what he can do push a move back to United, where he first became one of the world's top players.
